A collaborative contributor
If one of you says to him, “Go, I wish you well: keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith, I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. (James 2:16-18)
In the reflection on creation and original sin, we see that God has provided all that we need to develop into our true selves and that it is our responsibility to work together as one body in Christ, to care for God’s creation. As such, a Catholic graduate will be a collaborative contributor who:
- Works effectively as an interdependent team member. (CGE5a)
- Develops one’s God-given potential and makes a meaningful contribution to society. (CGE5c)
- Finds meaning, dignity, fulfilment and vocation in work which contributes to the common good. (CGE5d)
